I’m doing the thing and I’m terrified.
This took a lot of thought and a lot of back and forth with hesitation. Like, a ridiculous amound. But I finally set up and did a launch of my Patreon.
Just a run down of who I am and what I do.
I’m a writer, animator, voice actor. I make an animated web series based off my novels, “Shattered Heaven”. An Armored Core/Gundam esque mech drama. The first season finished in August of last year and I’m currently doing prep work on season 2.

The first season consists of 6 episode and 4 minisodes.
I am also in the process of revising the first novel for a release this spring. The difference now is that I ended up adapting and revising the book the minute I started making it an animated series. The animated series, while still following the main plot elements, has turned into a much better, much more thought out story than the original book ever was. So to avoid confusion and disconnects, I’m redoing the first book to match it.
In addition to Shattered Heaven, I am also working with @missrinachan on her original story, Dragon Star.
Dragon Star is a story about a competitive fighting game club and something far removed from anything I’ve ever worked on. It’s been in production for a while now, it took a back seat the past 2 years so I could finish the first season of Shattered Heaven.
Upon upgrading to Clip Studio Pro for animation, I’ve put Dragon Star back into proper production.
Originally all animations were done in Flash, but as I’ve mentioned, I’ve upgraded to Clip Studio Pro. Here’s a test from Season 2 of Shattered Heaven.
I will be doing monthly livestreams that will be animation or art sessions to Q&As and mini panels on making your own animated series.
My work (expect for the published books) will ALWAYS BE FREE. But as I’m growing, I’m realizing that balancing everything isn’t as easy anymore. If I want to keep up with growth, then I need to have more time to focus on this sort of creative work. And to do that, I really need to have more time to devote to this. That’s what this Patreon is for. I plan on moving out of NY in the coming year and that alone is terrifying. I’m hoping that launching this Patreon will allow me the confidence both in ability and financial stability to move forward with life.
I will be adding rewards to each tiers as I get used to Patreon. Charms are coming as well.
